Having said that, I will also like to reiterate the fact that RetroArch can support way more of games compared to any standalone emulator. While it may sound interesting, getting this thing up and running is a tedious process and if you want to play on PS2 games, going for a standalone emulator makes more sense. So essentially, you get multiple emulators in a single emulator. Once you install RetroArch, you can go ahead and install different gaming console emulators called Cores. RetroArch is a frontend for multiple emulators. I will start by saying that if you are not interested in games for other gaming consoles and you want to stick only with PS2 games, going for RetroArch is not a good option.
